Sheila Campbell
Producer, Actress, Voiceovers, Singer, Comedian, Model
Bio
Athletic, adventurous with an energy that never halts and a smile that never stops, with an ear for music and a never fatiguing hand for writing/illustrating children's stories, a little entertainer hiding behind her little "Pebbles" face, #1 singles and #2 doubles in women's tennis in Kansas, eight years of ballet, lived with a
French family in Grenoble, France and visited various countries, Teen USA Pageant, children's theater accompanied by private vocal lessons, varsity tennis team, honor student, who went off to Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, TX where she was a Delta Gamma and Pi Kappa Alpha lil' sis, and achieved a business degree with a concentration in marketing.
Fate was her belief as it led her to Orange County in sunny, Southern California. She made a name for herself by doing outside sales and at the same time moving forward with her acting. As a host/promotion guest coordinator for the TV show "Love Connection," she moved to LA having her first daily television credit. She became a Screen Actor's Guild member in four months.
Sheila has formal on-camera training in commercials,
scene study, audition technique, film technique, cold
reading and physical action labs along with
improvisation and voice-overs. Various roles both in
television and film have sent her from one spectrum to
the opposite. In addition it has allowed her to
be on sets and interact with famous directors such as
Mel Brooks, Michael Mann, Toby Emmerich, Jody Foster and
many more. Her co-starring role with Eric Roberts as
Jeanette put her into the producing realm. It was picked
up by a distributor and sold to both the international
and domestic markets.
Another rewarding project led her on the road as an abused wife with an alcoholic husband. Her improv skills led her into an incredible world where believability captured you with sudden tears. A guest at a trailer trash wedding reception brought her into a loud and funny type character. An explosive pounding on the door where her husband was with another woman made her run emotionally down a hotel hallway and down the stairs dragging her two children alongside her. The camera moving across the front of her face caught the intense stare of shock and fear. Seeing a view of the end of the world in the living room of the farmhouse, she was alongside her husband and son. A thirsty girl whose car had just broken down on the highway was stumbling through the desert sand looking for a Coke. A hiker whose boyfriend makes her climb to the point of the highest mountain. Hosting both for the potential guests of Love Connection and for her own Cooking Show kept the improv skills at their best! The psychic who knows all keeps an eye on the world of Paradise Lake.
This Celtic accent character enabled her to master and
fine tune her Scottish accent in her everyday life to
prepare.

"Gone Postal"
One fine Spring day, I met and sat with the director
Lisa Sanow at an IFPWest function in Hollywood. By the
time the event was over, we were best buddies and she
had said I would be perfect for a role in her upcoming
short Gone Postal. It’s a romantic/comedy and I play Lee
Meriwether’s daughter Kate. The scene begins with Mom
wanting to put an ad in the paper to find a date for New
Year’s Eve. The short is hitting numerous film
festivals across the country. The highlight being at the FAIP
Festival where the twenty minute short was on the big
screen (where Sheila’s starlet face should always be) at
the Chinese Mann’s Theater in Hollywood. I am looking
forward to the challenge as the star when it becomes a feature. "Gone Postal" screened at the Washington DC International Film Festival and the Garden State Film Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
"Con Games"
I reunited with an alum from college at the Beverly
Hilton Hotel for an annual cocktail gathering about four
years ago and ended up being in his first independent
film and then come on board for his third one. I
believed in this movie both for the international and
domestic markets so I invested and become an "Executive
Producer." The film was already cast except for one
perfect role Jeanette who gives key information to the
Star Eric Roberts. Other credits: Location Manager, and
Special Thanks.
My internationally-released feature film was premiered
in Los Angeles at the original Charlie Chaplin Theater.
Our distributor Artist View Entertainment sold film to
many different countries at MIFED in Italy, AFM in Santa
Monica then at the Cannes Film Festival. Our domestic
was released in July.
Throughout the year, Barbara Eden made it possible for
us to have great publicity under a serious tragedy in
People Magazine March 11th issue due to her only son Matthew Ansara's tragic
death. He had the role of prison mate in our film. Entertainment Tonight along with 20/20 Downtown
with Connie Chung carried this piece.
A deadly prison, Doscher State Correctional Facility,
has the highest rate of inmate deaths in the United
States. The Senator's grandson died in there and he
wants to find out who caused his death. He seeks the
help from another family who has been separated from
their father and who is currently serving time at the
prison. The Senator wants to find out what happened to
his grandson and will release the father as a trade off.
So it is up to John Woodrow to take his only chance to
save his father, leading him on a dangerous mission.
Officer Hopkins controls the prison where it is a world
of no law and ruled by a ruthless guard. He seeks an
important file from Jeanette who has a love interest in
him, and the file discloses John Woodrow. Even in prison
one man can make a difference.
"Mayans for Mayor"
Mayor Carlos Mayan’s primary campaign commercial for his
second term in office airing on KWCH 12 and Fox News at
9pm.
I was the smart wife who believes he is the best
candidate. My husband is clueless and I’m educating him.

"Gone Postal"
In this scene, my mother (Lee Meriwether) wants to place
an ad to find a date for New Year’s Eve. She wants to
get on with her life. I object because Dad just passed
away only a year ago. I think she should wait. Things
get out-of-control.

"Con Games"
In this scene I play a sultry Jeanette who works in the
prison.
Eric Roberts is the officer in charge at the prison who
is having an affair with me. He needs information and I
have it.

Games"
"What's Cooking?"
I co-hosted a live cooking show with host Glenda
Robinson. A two camera shoot in her quaint kitchen where
I cooked a tuna noodle casserole and a green bean
vegetable dish. The show promoted eating healthy and
economically for the City of San Bernardino and is aired
once a week.

"AFI"
Vasquez Rocks! What an incredible location that was
chosen by AFI director Nicole Bolster. I was constantly
reminiscing about all the movies that had been filmed
here. I am the young girl who doesn’t want to climb the
steep mountain but is led up there by the guy I’ve been
seeing. This takes you back to the silent movie days
where actions spoke louder than words.

"Nurse"
This was a three day shoot directed by Ira Englander,
the director of Running Brave. These were health care
videos targeting the elderly in nursing homes. I was the
caring nurse who interacted with patients. I
demonstrated many procedures with how to assist loved
ones who were bedridden, had trouble walking and so
forth.
